These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website and the landscaping services provided by Hill Landscaping. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Services

We offer landscaping services including but not limited to patios, decking, fencing, pergolas, garden design, and related outdoor projects. All services are subject to site inspection, availability, and agreement of scope and cost.

2. Quotes and Pricing

• All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
• Quotes are based on the current cost of materials and labour. Should market prices fluctuate significantly, we reserve the right to revise a quote with notice.
• Any additional work requested by the client that is not included in the original quote will be subject to a separate charge.

3. Deposits and Payments

• A deposit (typically 50% or flat fee,) is required to confirm all bookings.
• Once a deposit is paid and materials are ordered, it is generally non-refundable, except in cases where we cancel the project.
• The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Payment can be made via bank transfer, cash, or another agreed method.

4. Cancellations

• If you wish to cancel or postpone a scheduled job, please notify us at least 7 days in advance.
• Cancellations made less than 7 days before the agreed start date may result in a cancellation fee to cover labour and material costs.
• We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule work due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. extreme weather, illness, material delays).

5. Project Timelines

• We will make every effort to complete work within the agreed timeframe, but delays may occur due to weather, material shortages, or unforeseen site conditions.
• We will always communicate any changes to the schedule as early as possible.

6. Access and Site Conditions

• The client agrees to provide safe, reasonable access to the property for our team and equipment.
• Any known hazards (e.g. buried utilities, tree roots, or drainage issues) must be disclosed in advance.
• We are not liable for damage to underground utilities unless we were informed of their location prior to work starting.

7. Materials and Workmanship

• All materials used will meet or exceed industry standards.
• We guarantee our workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of completion, covering installation faults (not wear and tear or damage by misuse or external factors).

8. Liability

• We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from delays, access issues, third-party actions, or use of the site after project completion.
• Clients are advised to keep children, pets, and valuables away from the work area during and after construction for safety.

9. Images and Testimonials

• We may take before-and-after photos of your project for use on our website and social media, unless you request otherwise in writing.
• Any testimonials you provide may be used for promotional purposes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
